M60 AVLB Demonstrate Bridging Capabilities

he M60A1 AVLB is an armored vehicle launched bridges from American production. Manufacturer of the tank was General Dynamics Land Systems Division. At the pioneers of the US Army M60A1 AVLB replaced the Brückenlegepanzer M48.

The M60A1 AVLB is built in three parts, the bridge hydraulics, folding bridge and the tank chassis. The base of the bridge-laying tank is the armored hull of the M60A1 with six rollers, three supporting rollers and rubber-padded connector track. The fuel gauge is a total of about 1400 liters of diesel fuel . On the main battle tank chassis is the 19.19 meter long scissors bridge.
